At Rumbleseat. Dark dry plums upfront. Then a dusty dark fruit middle. Then a nice earthy finish — 9 months ago
QPR banger at €16 for the ‘07! Nicely mature, but it’s got some legs left. Shed all it’s baby fat, it comes off as elegant and pretty. Nose of forest decay and mushrooms, the palate is velvety and lithe. Plum, black cherry, porcini, a hint of vanilla. Threw a bunch of sediment, needs to be stood up. Very very nice after a run of mediocre wines! — 6 years ago
3.0 once it is allowed to breathe this is an OK Bordeaux, but it has a lot of residue. Regularly $16.99. — 9 years ago
Blackberry and dark red fruit nose, quite round for a 17-year old, a perfect match for strong French cheeses like Livarot, Saint Marcelin, and Saint Nectaire Fermier. — 7 years ago
Full body, but a little harsh on the end. — 8 years ago
