Working our way through the “Classic and Appellation “ List of matching Wines to the predominantly Seafood set menu at one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to - Geranium Copenhagen. The 2007 was a difficult vintage in Champagne ie. no Dom that year. Norbert the Somm said an acidic and skinny vintage. Lean on the palate / no Brioche. Some salinity - low fizz. An excellent food wine - can see why it’s in the matching Wines list. I have always found Comtes to be elegant and restrained. — 6 years ago

Pronounced "ZIG-it-ee" is a sparkling wine house located in the winemaking village of Gols in Burgenland. Began in 1990 when brothers Norbert and Peter Szigeti took over the family business. Interesting Austrian fizz, mellow yellow with stone and citrus aromas and spice, light mousse. On the palate ripe apricot, apple and orange zest with pepper spice. Refreshing lingering finish ending with citrus tones. — 7 years ago
Very good, well balanced wine from Norbert. From AHR. Great red from Germany! — 5 years ago
Whow, it's not Hyundai :) but a great off-dry botrytis treat.
Try it, and I bet you'll not regret. Highly aromatic, honey & ripe tangerine and candied fruits (pear) with honeysuckle. In mouth juicy acidic, balanced with sweet tropical fruit again tangerine. Lingering ginger finish, first time I'm drinking Solaris grape - great wine from Poland.
Solaris is a variety of grape used for white wine. It was created in 1975 at the grape breeding institute in Freiburg, Germany by Norbert Becker. — 7 years ago
