An excellent value. For $31.50 a solid, brooding Merlot blend with deep black fruit flavors and tar. Is this an excellent Bordeaux? No. But it delivers true Bordeaux flavor appropriate for an everyday meal like a hamburger 🍔 or cheese. Worth buying for under $35. — 6 months ago
Delicate and elegant older Margaux. Refined use of oak, fresh currant and some lightly stewed fruits. Dusty but nevertheless a wine with enough roundness. Gifted to me 16 years ago, a treat now. — 3 days ago

2019 vintage-- beautiful after opening up. Tobacco, cinnamon, clove, vanilla, blackberry jam. Superb structure and tannins are round on the tongue. A wonderful raspberry note from the Cab Franc, could use a bit more time to let the alcohol mellow but quite superb. — 2 months ago

2012 vintage. Dark red with little evolution. Black fruits in a tight, but velvety tannic structure. Impressive depth for the vintage. Drinking well, but I believe it will still improve with further bottle age. Abv. 13,5%. — 15 days ago
