Medium ruby , slightly deeper than the Imperial , slightly brighter , more ruby rim . Quite deep and closed on the nose , more deeply fruited , blackberry , dark cherry , ripe red plum. This has more spice on the palate , with some herbal hints , blackberry , plum and black pepper . Good valume and a more juicy , fruit driven profile , quite firm tannins still and balanced acidity . Good length , with a darker fruited finish . Young still needs a bit more time, 2-5 years or so and will last well a further 10 . — a month ago

Bright this back from the AMA Bordeaux cruise. 2018 vs previous 2016 vintage. Bouquet of soft sour cherries! Dusty dry upfront of tannic dark sour cherries. Soft dusty finish. Nice old world flavors. — 4 months ago
