My kind of super Tuscan- all native varietals. Natural blackberries & raspberries with both heft & balanced tartness on palate. Fine, grainy tannins. Impressive. — 2 years ago
My kind of wine. Well balanced, food friendly, 13.5% al. Medium tannins, tart plums or cherry. $20. Definitely buy again. — 4 months ago
Really balanced, weightless and a pleasure to drink. — 3 years ago
Superb herbal, mineral, dark red fruit, long finish. — 7 months ago
Lush red fruit, Pomegranate and red cherry. Turns out Ciliegiolo is a parent grape for Sangiovese. There is so much fresh fruit with plenty of acid structure. It’s a beautiful wine. — 9 months ago
Peppery and medium bodied. A lush taste without being being sweet. A lot of cherries and then blackberries, to finish a bit tart. — 3 years ago
Pale garnet; medium intensity aromas of sour red cherry, currant, red plum, dry herbs; dry, medium plus acid, medium plus rustic tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors with additional bitter complexity, plum skin; perfectly balanced, lovely and herbal — 3 years ago

Drinking so well still! I was expecting a tired wine but this was pulsating with primary and tertiary notes. A beautiful nose rose easily from the glass with sour cherry, raspberry, balsamic, leather, and sandalwood, with subtle notes of crushed stones. Medium bodied, with medium and fine grain tannins, a long, gentle finish is fresh and persistent. — 4 months ago
