Red and dark fruit. Ripe cherry blackberry some spice, pepper… medium tannins very food friendly. A bit pricey at 48 USD. Organic. — a year ago
Blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe red and black fruits with spice and sweet notes. On the palate very jammy blackberry and ripe cherry, has a sweetness probably from a cold soak or extended maceration, notes of cacao and espresso also on the palate. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with robust fruit, cacao and spice. Organic! Good value! — 3 years ago
Ovenbird. Pairs really well w Jeff’s good. Mid-dark orange. Nose is robust enough smell of fish doesn’t completely mask it. Medium body. Good structure. Stone fruits? Hints of terrior? — 4 years ago

This is a glowing, freshly brilliant Montepulciano thanks to its fermentation process in steel with a controlled with a maceration of up to 12 days. Additionally, the wine underwent thru naturally malolactic fermentation naturally and yet remained on the noble lees for 2 months. It produces a medium to full body, chalky tannins and not so grainy textured finish. Moreover Barba utilized organically grown grapes to this wine. An absolutely fantastic casual option with an incredibly price point. — a year ago
