Crushed coral nose with lemon curd and caramel apple. Surprisingly fresh on the palate with good concentration, lots of poise and a throbbing acidity. Buttery finish that lingers and lingers. This reminds me why I love Chablis and french wine in general. An absolutely great value. Beg borrow and steal to get some. — 6 years ago
Drank 2016 vintage May 9, 2019 , in Coral Gables, FL. Clear, crisp, delightful. Paired with a seafood dinner, it was a hit with the white wine drinkers in our group. Recommended. — 7 years ago
J. Lassalle never disappoints and brings incredible value. The nose (after the ultra zippy bubbles have mellowed a bit) is ripe with green apple skin, lime, marzipan and doughy goodness. Although it may start ice cold, a couple of minutes to warm in the glass let’s it shine even greater. Lemon and lime come first, especially when it’s at it coldest, but gives way to soft crush coral, baked apple, underripe nectarine and a kiss of salinity. This 1er cru checks in at a lower price point than Vueve, so go find some. — 8 years ago

Amazingly light pale pink coral color with tiny little bubbles that go on and on. Bright citrus fruits and freshly baked bread up front on the nose with floral notes on the back end. I’ll never get over the price of this bottle. It’s so clearly head and shoulders above other domestic sparkling wines it’s crazy. This is decidedly Californian with a touched of added sweetness and just a hint of almonds unlike the French counterparts with more pronounced nuttiness. Plenty of strawberry, black cherry, and raspberry fruit on the palate combining with toast and cream. A fabulous little sparkler. — 7 years ago

Superrr dry, super light and crisp. A pale coral color. Smooth, goes down EASY. Just didn't love the after taste, a little acidic. — 10 years ago

Just amazing! Love all his wines. Had it with a lightly breaded pork chop and Shannon Salad at Frenchies. Moving out of Coral Gables — 4 years ago
Light colored almost coral like. The grip , length, depth and layers. Tanins are still young and clearly this wine still has many years of youth. Not even bowing its age. It’s so subtle and non agressive you could mistaken it for being a lesser wine but you see the power and longevity will reward it with depth and complexity. Not showing its potential yet but nonetheless a monument to Barolo. — 7 years ago
This one REALLY grew on me. Refreshing and Zesty, not quite rose, not a white, a character on its own. I have another bottle and I will have to try it again to have a comprehensive tasting note. — 8 years ago
This is lovely! Fruity yet not overly sweet. — 9 years ago
Silky texture, great fruit balanced with soft tannins. I love it! — 10 years ago

Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 5 months ago
