Opened after 1 hour slow ox. Melange of dark fruit, fig, leather, tobacco, graphite, spice on the palate. Balanced tannins throughout. Subtle yet complex. — 4 years ago
Delightful from bottle to glass to consumption. Chocolate on the nose is revealed on the palette with roasted nuts and ripe fruit. Very long finish. — 5 years ago
Didn’t even need a decant, this babe was ready to go the second I popped the cork. This was all dried blackberries and dark plum with sturdy tannins begging for a rack of lamb. — 6 years ago
Необычное, душистое: лимон, яблоки, персик, мускатный орех, анис, даже гвоздичное масло. Свежий, легкий вкус. Очень приятное послевкусие. — 6 years ago
The oak has integrated from my previous note in February 2017 where the influence of oak Barriques was overly present. Sangiovese is not enhanced by too much oak in my opinion and is best matured in large Botti like I said in my previous note like Biondi Santi. Red cherry and earth notes finishing with powdery tannins. Coming together. — 5 months ago

Black cherry, cocoa, dried figs and dates, pipe tobacco, vanilla, and spices. — 9 months ago
Nice representative amarone - dark ruby coloration. Cherry and spices on the nose. Cherry, prune, spice and chocolate on the palate. Full bodied and rich with a decent finish. — 3 years ago
Brilliant expression of an amarone valpolicella. Black cherry flavours and sweet tannins. A wee bit of cloves and spice...ooh...and some interesting tobacco notes. Quite different from its cousin, the Sartori Corte Bra. Can't stop nosing this one — 4 years ago
Very tasty. Sweet and earthy. Intense flavor. From Howie, February 2021. — 5 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is not labeled as “Classico”. A very elegant traditional style, mild oak, restrained (and not particularly raisiny) fruit. Lovely and ready to drink. — 6 years ago

15.5 doesn’t show and texture is fine. No rough edges. Kinda delicious. — 3 months ago
