Sourced from 2 area vineyards, deep Ruby red color with aromas of fresh red and black fruits and some perfumed spice, aged 20 months, half in stainless and half in neutral oak, then combined and put in barrels for 2 months before bottling. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry and plum with notes of licorice, spice and orange citrus. Lively acidity, medium+ finish, fine tannins ending with fruit and spice. Nice! — 4 months ago

Leave this open at least one hour before consuming. Rich Cabernet Sauvignon with leather and smooth tannins in the finish. Nice example of California Cabernet Sauvignon but not extraordinary. — 4 months ago

My last bottle of the 13s. It has been about 4 years, and this wine has now hit its stride. In my previous notes the wine was unbalanced. Now, with more age, and a 45 min decant, the wine is wonderfully balanced. Big ripe dark fruit, softened yet still powerful tannins, well matched acidity. Great mouthfeel and nice finish. Has been nice to see a wine through the years really develop. — 5 months ago
