Third time I’ve had this, each time I’m almost staggered by the nose. Floral and light red and blue fruits pour out of the glass. This is an old world nod being a 85/15 blend of Syrah and Viognier, and although it hints towards brooding it remains delicate and vibrant on the palate. Really pretty wine. Everything from Day I have had has been great. — 5 years ago

One of the most surprising wines I have tasted this year. Lost in my cellar for far too long, It finally appeared and I thought there was little chance for a positive experience, but I was in for a more positive experience than I could have imagined. First, the wine was a red and gold amber hue, and of a viscosity I did not expect. Its solid acidity had remained intact, but the wine had sharrified, gaining a complexity and intensity that tastings of 20 years ago did not demonstrate. Instead, this wine reminded me of a complex palo cortado,, and was an extraordinary complement to both Asian and Western dishes I paired it with. Intense, complex nuttiness made the day. The development of this bottle shows that what might otherwise be viewed as a wine gone rogue can sometimes deliver an exquisite surprise! — 10 years ago
Apricots and a hiiiiint of cinnamon make sure this wine is unique. A bit sweeter than I remember but a good wine none the less. — 10 years ago
