Tasted this at the winery and knew right away we had to buy a bottle. The glass pops with kiwi and cool air after a light rain. Pineapple (really Dole Whip) deliciousness, with a dollop of honeybuns courtesy of the 30% new French Oak. We downed the bottle with a tarragon roasted chicken and will be replenishing shortly. — 5 years ago
Plum, cherry, and some spice. 100% mencia from 80 year old vines. Aged 4 months in French oak and 2 months in bottle. A medium bodied, balanced red that paired beautifully with orange chicken and banana dole dippers. 14% alcohol. Bierzo

The best thing I’ve tried from Cruse. Big boy pet nat. Sophisticated, serious, and not so different from something method traditional. Tight mousse and bone dry in a hazy white strawberry robe. Big red fruits, Dole strawberry, bing cherry, and candy watermelon slushee.
Now who can find a way for me to try some Ultramarine? — 5 years ago
Green gold in glass; the warmer it gets, the more the toffee, butterscotch and fresh pineapple pours from the glass. But it's the mid-palate and finish that raises this wine to amazing levels. Surprisingly rich and weighty, but smooth silken pure grace that lingers with hints of mango, ripe cantaloupe and wave after wave of Dole golden pineapple. I adore this wine! — 8 years ago
