Vintage 2020 | My heart skips a beat like when I find a wine from a curious grape. Domaine Alary is situated in Cairanne and today I had the pleasure to meet Jean Etienne Alary. He makes this cuvée from the grape Counoise. It is very light (you could easily fool me and make me believe it is pinot or nebbiolo) and has a good structure. A pure pleasurewine. — 3 years ago

The description: Garnet red colour with sparkling cherry highlights. The nose is expressive, complex with dominant notes of red fruit that grows to the mouth. The palate is smooth, round with a good freshness. Supported by fine tannins and a velvety mouth with a lot of persistence and volume. A successful wine to enjoy without waiting.
The opinion: consistently awesome, great value for money. — a year ago

The description: A deep blackcurrant-red colour, with bright cherry highlights. A profusion of black fruit flavours and soft spices on the nose. A rich full-bodied palate, sustained by freshness and a certain mineral touch. A silky, velvety tannic finish to enhance the balance.
A wine for early drinking but can be cellared for 2 to 3 years.
The opinion: it’s very good. Well worth investing in a couple of bottles to drink over the next couple of years. — 10 months ago
