Got this at Schumers as a substitute when I was looking for the Romane HCdN, same year….this is down the fairway for J, has that refinement/elegance, strong melon/pear on the nose - but not bold enough for me, though worked well with Peruvian spiced chicken — 3 years ago

GL Bertagna tasting 10/17/17. Beautiful nose of minerality and acids and some fruits and balanced palette and complex finish. Yummy. Such tension and energy. Week. $162! — 9 years ago

Very pleasant, some cherries and mild tannins — 2 months ago
We visited the vineyard many years ago. Its a walled garden, very beautiful. The wine is delicate and elegant, with hints of spices and flowers, complex, done in a classical way. Top notch stuff. 2016 is singing but there is really no rush. Deceivingly light :) buy if you find it. Its tiny quantities and its not crazily priced for such a confidential small vineyard. — a year ago
On the decline but has held up well. Still showing tart red fruit in the sour cherry and dried strawberry spectrum. Lots of sour acidic quality. A vinegar note that would be very food friendly. Still, a tasty, complex wine. — 11 years ago
At least 2 hours to start waking up. Then, complexity deep aroma is slowly showing up, with medical herbal. Later on, found tropical fruits nuance like the one I found in Echezeaux, so it is not black deep but also elegancy. Finished one glass in one hour, but 3 hours is not enough to enjoy and understand it.Fruitiness M Sweetness M Acidity M Gentle Tannin M Bitterness M Body M Finish M % Elegant Balanced, still has an aging potential.
