Dense purple color with a raspberry colored rim Aromas of maraschino, cherry, blueberry pie, violets. On the palate, wow. So different from the rich juicy Zinfandels I’ve had in the past. A shy nose with subdued green apple, a hint of green reine Claude plum, very fresh & pure.
On the palate this is defined by the juicy, electric acidity - so fresh, pure & alive. Great depth and definition with a beautiful mineral backbone. Amazing with food!
