Mon Coeur S'Est Arrêté 2023

Night pour with friends. No notes. Superb juice, nice plum and black berries, garrigue, tapenade. Wow this is great ! — 25 days ago

Les Fées Brunes Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Earth and raspberry nose, with a hint of meat. Nicely balanced and medium bodied, and delightful. Smooth finish, and fine tannins. You know it's going to be a good evening when a Crozes comes up from the cellar, and this fits the bill! — 3 years ago

Vieilles Vignes Grenache Blanc 2017

Superbe. Une belle longueur. Mineral et gras à la fois. Fougue de goût mais parfaitement en harmonie avec la daurade fusion en sucre sale. — 6 years ago

Le Clos des Fées Grenache Blend 2013

Not seeing RP’s 95, but it’s good. Great spiced fruit nose. Ripe with a tart finish. Just a whiff of stinky. — 5 years ago

Thanks for the comment! I intend on opening the exact same one in the same vintage in a week time. Hervé Bizeul is very active on a wine forum in France called "la passion du vin" and argues that le Clos des fées should be put in a decanter for up to 24 hours before being tasted to make sure to experience it in the best possible conditions. It certainly sounds a bit exaggerated and I only meant to share his views on the topic.

I could certainly see that. This definitely gained weight the longer it was opened. The last glass was the best with 3 hrs in the bottle.
