On the palate flavors of black raspberry, ripe cherry and blackberry with black pepper, cacao and earth notes, vivid acidity nice structure. Served blind to me (after aerating 2+ hours in the decanter) I guessed this as:
1. Napa CS
2. Syrah (possibly from WA)
3. Cornas
4. Crozes-Hermitage
5. I give up....

Floral fragrance with berries. Drinks smoothly with flavors of raspberries, dark cherry with hints of spice, pepper and earthiness. Has a nice finish with a little heaviness in the mouth. — 6 years ago
