Pretty delicious and a value in grand cru if that can exist. — 3 years ago
We all have that experience that we would love to undergo again, sans the memory, afresh: my first taste of peaty Scotch; the magnificent atmosphere of a Souls game; one’s first orgasm with a loved one; or, encountering a truly great, mature, Burgundy. Wipe the slate clean, let us start again; I’m sure that’s how we all clamor. But all that’s left is to forge on, in search of higher highs and the brighter lights. Nose: starts off tight, with dried, tart raspberries and strawberries, opens up to earth, oak, vanilla later, without overwhelming the fruit. Even a bit of perfumed peaches. Palate: layered light plums, juicy mid-ripe strawberries, gentle and super-silky tannins, extremely luscious mouthfeel. Finish: long, notes of stewed tea, recurrent umami and minerals. Puts the LONG in prolonged. Oh my. Oh. — 7 years ago

Lifted bright red fruit. Needs a nap and was better second and third days. — 13 days ago
