Syrah 70% / Cab Sauv 14% / PV 16%
Varietally fermented & aged. French oak (10-14 months), then assemblage.
Prominent roasted, smokey aromas, leather, blueberry, blackberry, menthol, coffee bean, clove, black pepper, dried violets, pencil shavings.
Ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; vanilla bean, cocoa nib, black pepper, crushed rock / graphite. Fresh acidity; tannins resolving nicely but still robust.
Drink now with food now or revisit in 2-3yrs. (Nb. variance has been a factor - some have peaked) — 3 months ago
Beefy. Maybe too early still — 2 months ago
First Asturian wine, interesting mix of ripe red fruit with good acidity — 4 months ago
Excellent wine and pairs well with a steak or lamb chops. Full bodied, aromatic and not as sweet as Cabs. Smooth finish and can taste the tannins — a month ago
Light salmon color. Aromas of watermelon and red berries. Bold red berry and watermelon fruit flavors with a nice hint of spice. Touch of salinity on the finish. Nice texture (bit of heft) and a bit of tannin. Quite crisp and refreshing. Gulpable! Excellent QPR. Thanks for sharing, Kase! — 3 months ago

Second time drinking this wine and not completely convinced...for the money there are so many better wines out there. Very smooth and rounded with nothing really jumping out. Maybe one for the future 🤗 — 5 days ago
