Medium-bodied and ruby colored. Tasted red fruits. Started out juicy on the tongue, but then shifted into having a drier mouthfeel. Almost loved it, but wanted a little more oomph! Tried at Bloodlust Winebar in Valle de Guadalupe. — 2 years ago
At 16.5% I was expecting it to knock my head off with the alcohol overpowering any other tastes. Pleasantly surprised at what a good Toro this is — 6 years ago
One of the most stunning & beautiful wines I've ever enjoyed, and I've tasted many of the worlds best wines over last 30 years. A 1966 Leoville Las Cases is a close #2, a 1982 Mouton Rothchild, 1989 Pinchon- Longueville, 1997 Masseto, 1997 Insignia, 1997 Dominus, 2001 Termanthia, 2003 Clos de Papes... — 7 years ago
Kudos to Jon Rimmerman of Garagiste/Seattle Wow. He was right about this one — 12 years ago
Earthy, semi-sweet, beautiful orange color, hint of green apple, nice legs. Became deliciously buttery when paired with an amazingly delicate lobster plate. — 2 years ago

For the first time in my life: 16.5% alc. for a red wine. Whow but not that heavy as you would expected! — 4 years ago
This wine from one of the 20 wineries in Fuenmayor is well balanced. On the one hand its pronounced tannins to enjoy a spicy dish, on the other 24 months in barrels soften its tones and give it personality. Excellent to enjoy this May Day at the Mariquitina Festival. — 7 years ago
Las Yolas. 2011 Asturias, Espana. Wow! Warm hay, apricot and funk, waxy yet clean and fresh, slightly oxidated, somewhat reminiscent of a Jurasic Savagnin- vin jaune Whatever, delicious — 11 years ago
