Potpourri, flower petals. A lot of blue fruit. Transcends into lion’s mane, blossoming fruit that lingers on the nose and carries across the pallet. It leaves me wanting more … Really clean. This is CA all the way and not too hot. Well done. — 9 months ago
Felt like this #brunello was only starting to hit its prime drinking window, classic #sangiovese notes but dare I say a touch underwhelming? — 8 months ago
Slight greenish yellow. Unexpectedly rich. Rounded nuts, almond. Later on, citrus etc. feel acidity and dry. Bianca Di Valguarnera Duca Di Salaparuta 20 @5632, Toscan, 240720-240814 — 9 months ago

Good body and smooth finish. Delicious with or without food — 8 months ago
Smooth with lots of flavor. Fourth bottle of this type but unfortunately did not record the vintage. So removing previous entry although probably the same. — a year ago
Yves Leccia’s 2019 Île de Beauté IGP Rouge is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Niellucciu, hailing from the northerly appellation of Patrimonio, Corsica.
Île de Beauté – the namesake for many wines produced on the island – translates to ‘island of beauty’ in English.
This is a beautiful wine, indeed. It is medium ruby with ripe cherry, strawberry, and kirsch notes leaping out of the glass; it also offers licorice, fennel, violet, and subtle meaty characteristics. The fruit is unmistakably intense and concentrated. I suspect it’s a reflection of the dry, sun-soaked climate on this beautiful, mountainous Mediterranean Island.
This is such a versatile and food-friendly wine – it’s definitely worth a taste if you have the chance (preferably while gazing upon Corsica’s coastal seascapes). Cheers to the wines of Corsica! — 3 years ago
