This was 1 of 41 wines we tasted blind to pick the next Members Premium Red at the Downs Club. Brief notes. A youthful Ruby with a purple tinge. Black ripe fruits and dark chocolate from the brilliant 2018 vintage. Charred oak. A typical Peter Lehmann Shiraz and most enjoyable. — 2 years ago
Very good blend. — 5 years ago
An amazing value. Spiced fruit, clove, honey, vanilla, amazing oak notes - just an outstanding bourbon. It’s light enough that it would make an outstanding summer whisky, but drinking it neat with no water is serving me just right on this cold November night. — 5 years ago

Another quite tasty covid wine - drank on the balcony on Sunday night with cheese and onion pie. — 5 years ago
Выпито 28.04.20 в радуницу у Вадима. Первый раз пью новозеландский совиньон блан 2011 года. Спокойно. — 5 years ago
We adored this wine. Lively and tense eight acidity depth and a peppery verve, it was amazing with a steakhouse dinner, but equally wonderful the second night with salad, cheese and a hearty bread. — a year ago
Tasted alongside the 2015 vintage. Both wines were opened about eight hours in advanced and allowed to slow-ox at cellar temp (51°F). Comparatively, this was more open for business. Dark cherry, gym sock, dried herbs, leather, and tomato leaf on the nose. On the palate, dusty cherry fruit with black tea and dried herbs. Rustic. Quite an old school charmer! Towards the end of the bottle, this started to tighten back up a bit but it was still my favorite of the two vintages tonight. I expect this to enjoy a long life. — 4 years ago
Certainly different than The Pontiff. This was lighter and more classically Rosé whereas in a blinder glass I’m not sure I would identify The Pontiff as a Rosé at all. For my taste, this was enjoyable, but not mind-blowing (which is usually the case for me with wines from SQN). — 5 years ago
