Almost perfect. Rich, fragrant and sooo good... — 8 months ago
Lovely. Drank over two nights. Aroma built nicely, warm on the way down — 3 years ago
Dark ruby core with a garnet/orange rim. Aromas of tobacco, forest floor, leather and ripe red and black fruit. Flavors of mushrooms, cranberry, black cherry and blackberry fruit on the palate with additional hints of cocoa powder and baking spices. Long, silky and smoky finish with extremely gentle tannins. Medium bodied (nicely aged) and a creamy texture. Thank you for sharing this one, Ron B! Revisited in September 2025. Outstanding wine. — 3 months ago

Let’s qualify this statement by saying that I’m not a wine connoisseur. That said, I really enjoyed this wine. Not overly sweet and smooth.. — 4 years ago

Muted nose with dusty lemons, green hazelnut, a touch of underripe pineapple, and a fresh, uplifting minty note. Great purity & freshness here.
On the palate this shows great concentration- there’s depth & weight and yet this isn’t heavy, on the contrary - poised, elegant, superbly balanced.
Beautiful tension and purity.
Clearly not Burgundy, nor Germany and def not New World. Surprising acidity & freshness for Tuscany.
