Hi Jumilla Monastrell 2018

Clear, medium to deep purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, cassis, and tabacco smoke; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of blueberries, red plums, and a hint of cocoa with a long finish. This wine is intense and well balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 11 days ago

Deep ruby in color; blackberries, black plums, and tabacco smoke on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins; tastes like blackberry sauce, black olives, black pepper and a hint of potting soil with a long finish. Nellie and I both like it and think it paired well with Cajun Fries from Five Guys. I think it would pair well with Texas barbecue. — 2 years ago
