Really beautiful and different rosé. Orange and salmon, color easily mistaken as a Grenache rosé.

Strawberries, red apples, fresh mini cucumbers and a river bed rockyness on the nose.

Great acid and tension on the palate. Candied strawberries carry over with a bitter red apple skin, a little lemon curd and grapefruit wine on the finis. Also spots of white pepper.

On the palate, it's full-bodied, and well structured, with very good acidity, dusty well integrated tannins and a supple texture. It shows ample high-toned red currant, baked blackberry, black raspberry, spice and vanilla flavors with a roast coffee finis. 14.5% alcohol. A blend of Cab and Syrah. The Cab sourced from the Betchart Vineyard, directly across the road from Ridge's world famous Monte Bello vineyard, at 2,200 feet of elevation above Cupertino.
