Amodiño Finis Terrae Albariño

Your tattooed sister’s Albarino. Took this matured skin-contact menagerie home. Is it oxidized? Maybe. That’s the fun. — 8 months ago

Marc Colin et Fils

Le Trezin Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay 2008

Verjus like nose and on the palate when first opens. Subsides, but still great acid throughout. Opens into apricot honey, flowers, a touch of minerality and creaminess on the nose. Lemon and grapefruit followed by apricot on the mid palate through the finis. A touch of honey and lactic acid to round it out. Very complex and balanced village level puligny

Alsace Pinot Noir

Love this style. Cherry and light fruit along with vineyard dirt. Light but deep. Long finis and silky, lightweight tannins. — 8 months ago

Domaine Sylvain Pataille

Fleur de Pinot Marsannay Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

Really beautiful and different rosé. Orange and salmon, color easily mistaken as a Grenache rosé.

Strawberries, red apples, fresh mini cucumbers and a river bed rockyness on the nose.

Great acid and tension on the palate. Candied strawberries carry over with a bitter red apple skin, a little lemon curd and grapefruit wine on the finis. Also spots of white pepper.

Really enjoy the wine and super fun to taste blind

Odeon Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Opaque violet color with very appealing baked and fresh dark fruit, smoke, marzipan and violet aromas. On the palate, it's full-bodied, and well structured, with very good acidity, dusty well integrated tannins and a supple texture. It shows ample high-toned red currant, baked blackberry, black raspberry, spice and vanilla flavors with a roast coffee finis. 14.5% alcohol. A blend of Cab and Syrah. The Cab sourced from the Betchart Vineyard, directly across the road from Ridge's world famous Monte Bello vineyard, at 2,200 feet of elevation above Cupertino. The Syrah is from Coastview Vineyard at 2,300 feet in the Gabilan Mountains. — 11 years ago

à Cramant Brut Champagne

Wonderful yeasty nose overlaying pleasant orchard fruit nose. Sophisticated and complex with a creamy biscuit finis presumable a high % of chard with a couple of years on lees. Delicious and possible best when it has warmed slightly. — 12 years ago
