Lively, alive even. Prickly red fruit and herbs say hi on the nose. Elevated acid and pleasantly sandpapery tannins create a tense but energetic body that grips yet glides. Ruby coloration with some translucency. On the nose, cherry, vanilla, warm spices, balsamic, leather and oak. On the palate, medium to fuller bodied, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, balsamic, oak and florals, with a certain softness and richness. Medium to longer finish. Good tannins. Revisited with a meal consisting of brasoto al Chianti con pappardelle. Beautiful pairing. Brought out notes of chocolate, smokiness and molasses and brought out the fullness and richness of wine. si presenta con un ricco fruttato, frutti neri, more e mirtilli, il colore un po più scuro di quello che ti aspetti ma limpido, cristallino, luminoso e ammaliante. pian piano di apre e esce un bel sottobosco profumato, il the verde e la foglia del tabacco dolce, per finire un un buon aroma di polvere di caffè. Grande armonia e equilibrio, davvero un buon vino che di sposava bene con l'intera cena tirolese, fino al cervo con funghi porcini e polenta — 10 years ago
