Recommended at Sessions Restaurant. Good! Dry red fruits, savory minerals, leather. Second predominantly collegiality we’ve had in a couple weeks! Will have more. — 3 years ago

Lively, alive even. Prickly red fruit and herbs say hi on the nose. Elevated acid and pleasantly sandpapery tannins create a tense but energetic body that grips yet glides. More red plums and raspberries take a back seat to herbal concoctions and purple flowers. The finish goes on and on, leaning more into fruit and florals. Simply a stunner, my gosh. — 2 months ago
Ruby coloration with some translucency. On the nose, cherry, vanilla, warm spices, balsamic, leather and oak. On the palate, medium to fuller bodied, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, balsamic, oak and florals, with a certain softness and richness. Medium to longer finish. Good tannins. Revisited with a meal consisting of brasoto al Chianti con pappardelle. Beautiful pairing. Brought out notes of chocolate, smokiness and molasses and brought out the fullness and richness of wine. The wine and food really elevated one another. E180 at winery. — 3 years ago

Earthy and bold. I thought it smelled a bit musty, like a forest floor. Dark red berries. My friend said it smelled like a forest berry pie. Full bodied and not as dry as I expected. Jammy. — 2 years ago
Very special, old sorts of grapes, little winery, wonderful winemaker who is frequently traveling to Bordeaux. Not mainstream and therefore highly recommend. — 4 years ago
