Thank you Shawn at Alliance, Paris, 2018 vintage, February 2, 2023 — 3 years ago
Bright yellow. Clear. A bit closed on the nose, ripe apples, peach, honey, oak. Dried fruits, orange on palette. Acid. Tangy or spicy. Silky, medium finish. Tasted in May 2021 at BigMacs&Burgundy book event by Alliance Francaise. — 4 years ago
2013 vintage. Pretty much identical to @Shay A's beyond excellent notes on this wine from 03.31.23. This was from an infuriatingly custom 5L bottle tho. Super-youthful. From this format? An easy 15-20 years of life. From a standard 750ml format? 12-15 years of great drinking. Right in line with Central Coast red Rhône blend/varietals usual ABV%. That is, to say, not exactly bashful. 12.06.24. — 8 months ago
Bright and a tad hot. Some pepper/spice. Cherry cola with soft tannins and a TON of acidity. Almost an effervescence which never hurts my feelings. Smells candy sweet but drinks with a bit more maturity. — 4 years ago
The 2021 Alliance has everything, it is not as well balanced as the 2020 but close. — 2 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with yeasty notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with lemon citrus zest and bread notes. Fine bubbles, light mousse, medium finish ending with fruit, citrus and heavy yeasty buttery biscuit character. — 2 days ago
