Second time tasting this wine and all my prior notes still apply. This is delicious. Super cherry, pomegranate nose, super acid drive, vivid palate with a lot of energy and a good grip. A good tannins wall brings some disruption to the end of the palate, laying a nice peppery, sandy layer. Lovely. — 5 years ago
White wine from the best overall wine experience at prince Edward county during a Kingston visit. Would 100 % purchase again!!! — 6 years ago
Really nice lighter to medium bodied wine. Ate puff pastry appetizers with it. I taste cherry, it has a nice jammy quality to it. — 7 years ago
Very fresh & quite herby, with great purity of fruit (plums, blueberries) but also some nice earthy and tobacco & vegetal notes. Polished tannins and nice balance with freshness and a wide huff of menthol adding lightness to the ripeness. This is quite modern but also authentic and very drinkable. A nice wine. — 7 years ago
Went well with their in house cheese. — 8 years ago
Cupie doll and honeyed pineapple bouquet.
Started salty! initially. Residual sugar hinted at what was to come. White peach pineapple, honey and binding acidity, minerality — 8 years ago
30 min decant(little cloudy sediment). A formidable medium garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: perfumed notes of raspberry, vanilla, forest floor, and cedar. Taste: A creamy, juicy, balanced wine with red plum, smoke, touch of blueberry, minerals, earth, spicy vanilla oak, and a medium finish. Sticking pins in my Packers doll and crossing my fingers, let's see what happens. — 4 years ago

Vanilla flower on note, along with citrus on aroma, tropical and stoned fruit oak and peels lifting the note palate up 🌻
Underneath floral bee wax of honey, cream and honeywoodsy add texture to it

Very minerally traces of coal dust - different and enjoyable. Just had a glass at China Doll Sydney - first visit. The wine was very good. Palate is on the restrained style - worked well with Scallops, Ginger and Shallots. Larry McKenna is an Australian winemaker who has enhanced his reputation at Escarpment. — 7 years ago

Shiraz = syrah, apparently. Incredible footwork bringing this doll from Australia, packs quite an earthy, gritty punch with a full-body blow complement that’ll bring you to your knees faster than you can say “million dollar baby” — 7 years ago
Intense aromas of tropical and exotic fruits. Flavors of pineapple, limes, green apple and spice. Dry, fresh and vibrant. Great value. — 8 years ago

I’m a fussy one with Pinot. It should not come from Western Australia IMO. Clones or climate, prob both. This from the Mornington Peninsula is everything I want. Lower alcohol, rose petals, violets, no confection, some spices. It went really well with a Chicken Biryani. I’ve always loved their Chardonnay and now I’m late to their Pinot Show but loving this immensely. 2019.
