Forgot to save my thorough notes(!!!). From memory - the nose hits you with overt apricot, fresh figs, lots of nuts (including pistachio ice cream), and a bit of faint tangerine. It tastes like a pastry - almonds, sugar, coconut cream, apricot, cookies and cakes and dessert oh my. Finished with honeycomb. The Rich gets a boost with a higher dosage (60g/l sugar). A blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier & 25% Chardonnay. Concentrated fresh red berry aromas. On the palate big ripe stone and tropical fruit notes with flavors of pineapple & citrus, vivid acidity on long sweet finish. New ice wine producer for me from Yakima Valley. Paired well with Hedy's ice cream & sorbet creation. Nice array of stone fruits, marmalade, nuts, dry pineapple, wet stones, very good soft minerality, beautiful acidity, a thick, rich well polished finish with just the right amount of (RS) sugar. — 9 years ago
