Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

Rich Champagne Blend

The Rich gets a boost with a higher dosage (60g/l sugar). A blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier & 25% Chardonnay. Concentrated fresh red berry aromas. On the palate big ripe stone and tropical fruit notes with flavors of pineapple & citrus, vivid acidity on long sweet finish. Interesting almost a Demi-Sec, meant to be served on ice with one ingredient, try a mimosa! — 2 years ago

Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2015

Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 2015 (Muscat Blanc).
This was the desert wine we were served at our hotel tasting menu in Grindelwald. Wow!! We both loved it!! Honey, peaches, marmalade - really reminded me of the Inniskilin Ice wine I had back in Canada which I loved. It’s an expensive bottle!! But was so lovely!

Wagner Vineyards

Ice Finger Lakes Riesling 2018

Golden hue. Plus body and medium acidity. Aromas and flavors of apricot, golden raisins, honey, marmalade, and orange. Jammy and sweet, like orange soda without the fizz. Absurdly drinkable. — 10 months ago

Château Phélan Ségur

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

2016 vintage. Tasting again a month later. Reduced Baskin-Robbins mint chocolate chip ice cream presence and increased anise/black licorice involvement. Otherwise…previous notes from the 4th of July, 2021 apply. Classy. — 3 years ago
