Medium body red, moderate legs, earthy red fruit, herbaceous mid notes with a citrusy finish. This is easy to sip on Julie’s front porch. — 3 years ago
Great stuff! Drank well with chicken scallopini. Quite dry, a rub of tannin. Tart cherries with some dirty leaves thrown into my iced tea. — 7 years ago

Tenuta Il Falchetto Bricco Paradiso Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2019: Medium-bodied. High acidity. Approachable tannins. Dark fruits. Spice. Oak. Flavorful long finish. Had this wine a few weeks ago at the Slow Wine SF event and I am still talking about it today: The color! The taste! The nose! Such an exceptional wine. Hands down my new favorite Barbera! Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
Delicious nebbiolo w natural bent. Just a hint of funk to make it stand out. Accompanied dinner at Alto Paradiso perfectly — 5 years ago
I visited this boutique vineyard in Siena. The winemaker believes that playing classical music is beneficial to his vines. I also learned that the University of Pisa and Florence are conducting a scientific research on the effect of sound waves on vines. Music or not... decanted for 2 hours, this wine is magnificent! Leather, vanilla, dill, and cherry notes. Happy New Year friends. — 8 years ago
