House red at piquette. Dry and great with duck — 5 months ago
This apparently is a joint project of Egon Muller and Miroslav Petrech. It’s really good. Almost petrolly minerals and green herbs mingle with fragrant green and golden apple on the nose. There’s a hint of a lactic or sponti note too. Big yet balanced and lively in the mouth. Big flavors are quite dry. Nice acids for a wine that’s 14%. Color me impressed! — 6 months ago
What a delightful surprise! Maybe you are deeply expert when it comes to Muller-Thurgau wines, but I was very happy to meet this new friend. A wonderful, fresh pear overtone with that racy Austrian acidity and crisp, dry finish—and it was sparkling! Not just a light frizzante but a full Prosecco-level mousse. This was wonderful with a zuppa toscano and some garlic bread, but I bet it would go with most anything. — 4 months ago
Very nice. Like a smooth caramel, smells a bit like licorice. And yes, I’m told that’s the correct spelling. — 3 years ago
Citrus, minerality. Great acidity that balances the RS. Delicious. — 6 months ago
Vintage 2020 | Flint, strawberry, sweet plum. This wine has the swallow-factor, beautiful concentration, soft first impression, elegance. Definitely: like! Very balanced wine. Winefriend @Berry Marinussen gave a big compliment, the wine made him think of Burgundy - “I would not recognize this wine as German spätburgunder” — 5 months ago

Almost has the fruity nose of a Beaujolais - some of that popping fresh red fruit and a hint of bubblegum.
Nice balance on the tongue of tart ripe fruit and acid. Some oak to give it all a little sense of maturity. — 2 months ago
