Deep ruby in color; blackberries, strawberries, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberry jam, white pepper, and crushed gravel with a long fruity finish. There may be a little residual sugar, but it's well balanced and tasty. Nellie likes it and I do too. — 6 months ago
Bright red cherry notes. Heavy fruit slight jam. — 3 years ago
Deep inky purple and not a trace of brick. Heavy tar and jam (not off-putting) on the nose and not surprisingly a bit of alcohol. Delicious balance of jaminess and ripe black fruit. Enjoy in next couple years though to taste the fruit. Drinking with berebere chicken and rice. — 3 years ago
Deep ruby in color, almost purple; cassis, black cherries, and cedar on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black plums, berry jam, and baking spices with a medium finish. Nellie says it's ok, and I like it. We both think it goes well with a steak. — 5 months ago

One of my favorite chardonnays. Soft and fresh — 5 months ago
Traditional Bordeaux style blend. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of blackberry jam, violets and toasted bread. Palate is full of jammy black currant/berry flavors with additional notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, blueberry, graphite and baking spices. Full bodied and juicy. Not overly complex but very well made. A bit more bottle age is necessary for the wine to calm down a bit. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 7 months ago
