Love this! If you like Meomi you will love this one. Its a good pinot noir for Cab drinkers.

Dark and opaque. Earthy nose. Unusually heavy and thick for a Pinot, particularly a Cali Pinot. Give this at least two hours in decanter.

Smoke and intense red fruit with just a slight bite of currant and earth.

Deep ruby color. Overripe black cherry, plum jam, strawberry jam, blueberry jam, dried fig, cola and hint of mint. Very strong oak treatment, sweet vanilla, mocha and dark chocolate. Heavy extracted style Pinot and definitely has some RS. Do I like the style? No. Do I like the taste? Yes. 14.7% abv

Again as was beekeeper just another great RVR Pinot. Dairyman wine a winner as well . Sorry but not sorry again that rich mouthful of jam, fruit that I tend to like most. Strictly personal of course. But for me. Love love

Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Opening a bottle the color was a Bright Ruby with aromas of ripe berries and smoky spice notes. The palate yields raspberry and black cherries with subtle current character, and herb, cedar and cacao. The smooth tannins, soft finish lingered nicely with fresh acidity, great structure. Wow!

Went back to the well...
Beginning to see the flavor profiles that divide the Belle Glos vineyards.
Jam compote, sandalwood and dark cherries on the nose. Palette less nuanced from what I have come to expect. The plushness and density also falls a little short. Great profile of rich, dark overripe fruits. Finishes sweet with fully integrated tannins. Good but not great. Consider this for short-term cellaring only.

Loved this bottle! Extremely versatile. Nice on its own, dark cherry and hickory aroma, full bodied, semi-sweet with medium acidity. We then paired it with a teriyaki glazed salmon, which was wonderful, with the wine accentuating the sweetness of the glaze and the fat of the fish. We finished the bottle by pairing it with dark, ginger-infused chocolate, which popped when mixed together. This wine is a triple threat!
