Full bodied and fruity sweet. — 9 years ago
Classic producer from a Jekyll-and-Hyde vintage. Fortunately, this is a Jekyll, mild-mannered and so frackin' delicious. Happy birthday to me. #domainedrouhin — 11 years ago
Crushed berries in a smoky barn. But a bit unbalanced until the second night when the Hyde becomes a smooth Jekyll. (Enjoyed the second bottle even more than the first now that I knew what to expect (over 3 nights)). — 11 years ago
2016 vintage. Last tasted in May 2022. At that time, the wine had shed much of the baby fat and gone leaner bodied. Ummm…this bottle added the weight/body back on along with the overt fruit missing for the last year back into the hopper. The most Jekyll/Hyde BDX I’ve ever had the pleasure to taste multiple x’s. Have zero idea what to expect on the next visit but thinking it won’t be boring. 2.20.23 — 3 years ago
@Bill Bender This Wind was either Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. You either loved it or hated it. It was Ryan's WOTN. I personally thought it was overshadowed by the Brunello. Ryan loved the sharp dark cherry on the initial palate with a tart herb finish. Definitely a superb wine which was incredibly lush due to its bottle age. I'm still flabbergasted Bill shared one of these bad boys with me!!!!!
3 had it in the top 3 and 3 had it in the bottom. There is no right or wrong when it comes to these high-quality bottles! This is truly an embarrassment of riches and I am blessed to be opening these bottle this evening. Thank you so much once again Bill! 👏🍷🍷👏

Wonderful Sav Blanc. Tastes more like a Pinot Grigio. Tart little bite. Drank with MA and C at Jekyll — 9 years ago
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde here. Day 1 tight and maybe even a little muddled in the flavor department. Day 2 deep dark cherry flavor - enjoyable. — 11 years ago

2023 vintage. Last tasted 3.11.26 (9.0). Chards I’ve historically had from this vineyard have trending towards a medium-heavy body in a richer, sumptuous style. This one does not and you can actually taste the distinctiveness of site and place vs wading through all the cosmetics. This visit was so much better than the previous one 6 weeks ago. Jekyll and Hyde indeed. 4.22.26. — a month ago
