Wildcard. Prob my fav cuvée from Julien. Tasted aged even tho it’s a 21. Flowery quality to it, like roses, potpourri.
[2019 Vintage:] “A captivating, translucent ruby red hue. Even on the nose alone, there is already a suggestion of ripeness, yet it is utterly enveloped by fragrance: white flowers, grapefruit, cherry, even stony minerals. Really classy and effusive, replete with sapid pinot-esque flavours of enviable concentration. The vintage is quite magical here: all pure, palate-staining but also inexplicably airy in the mouth. The mouthfeel is silky, culminating in a persistent, gentle and thoroughly sweet-fruited long finish held together by an invisible frame. Like the ethereal cuvée Auguste, trails of crushed flower petals replicate and repeat on the lingering finish.” AC
“Guillot brings a unique perspective to gamay—not quite Burgundy, not yet Beaujolais—not only in his Mâcon Rouge and Mâcon-Cruzille, but the mysterious, radiant, field-blended Cuvée 910.” Jon Bonné — 3 years ago
Fig and cherry, and has a long acidic and stemmy-tart finish. Real good right from cork pop. Same night 2. A gift from Jon F. $30 @ anbl — 9 years ago

Great find. Full of blackberries, plums (the ones that are red inside), spicebox, palm tree leaves, with a slight touch of Rutherford valley dust at the end but mostly full dark purple/red mountain body. Silky smooth and recommend a try. Vineyards are farmed by Jon-Mark Chappellet and it shows. — 9 years ago

Winemaker, Jon Priest, states that “superior grape growing diminishes the need for intervention by the winemaker.” Bright Ruby with rich red fruit aromas and complex spice. On the palate sweet cherry and raspberry flavors, light in body, fine layered spice and oak, a little more pronounced that recent vintages. Soft tannins, great mouthfeel, well balanced ending with slight earthy character. Very Nice! Consistent quality. — 8 years ago
Lovely silk texture with nice body. Apples that fell to the ground and laid in the sun for a day or two. Then those beautiful iced tea tannins and oak. Best MI wine I've ever had up to this particular moment in history. Orange! — 8 years ago
The flagship wine from Burn Cottage, a Central Otago, New Zealand producer focused on Pinot Noir. Husband and wife owners Dianne & Marquis Sauvage sought out Ted Lemon of Littorai, and SF Chronicle's winemaker of the year for 2010 (Jon Bonné: "The simple version of Ted Lemon's story: Young American goes to Burgundy. Becomes first American to run a Burgundian wine estate. Comes back and stays true to Pinot's motherland."). Lemon oversaw the planting of the vineyards, along with all aspects of vineyard management and winemaking, chief of which being Biodynamic from inception. The label is a derivative of a 1795 fairy tale called “The Green Snake and the Beautiful Lily” which represents the ideal intersection of people and the land reflected in Biodynamics. Black cherry, citrus, and lavender pastille, with some secondary loam and herbs. — 9 years ago
