Full bodied and smooth. — 9 years ago
Armenian wine has gained more global popularity since a team of archaeologists discovered the earliest evidence of complete wine production inside an Armenian cave. You probably still won’t find them in most restaurants but you can now get high quality contemporary Armenian wine in specialty shops or online. Karasi by Zorah is pretty unique because it was aged in a Karas instead of a traditional barrel. Nose is similar to Pinot Noir from hotter climate with cherry and peppery notes. Medium bodied with delicate tannins and acidity. Very elegant yet interesting wine. — 6 years ago
