Cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, currant and oak. Light-bodied and moderate tannins. — 10 months ago
Drinking this alongside some vegetarian sourdough pizza with red onions, black olives, veggie sausage, and pomodoro, was simply fantastic. The nose was solid, strong, and filled with black berries, cherries, and a tiny hint of cola. The flavors were very similar to the nose but layered in some vanilla, smoked meats and a tiny bit of acid. Also, it was widely accessible to folks across the dinner party. A great bottle which added to a great meal. — a year ago
Took awhile to open but once it did this is a pretty decent Cab - nose is full of fruit - blackberries - palate is a little sparkly, slightly underwhelms vs the nose but still solid — 2 months ago
Light, simple, clean, stone fruit accents with medium mineral qualities. A nice wine to enjoy with a raw bar on a cool summer evening — 4 months ago

Jumping back into the pond with the Cayuse Bionic Frog!
1 hour decant. A marvelous deep dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: Inviting nose of dark fruit, herbaceous, smoked meat, slight "Cayuse funk"(luv it), chocolate espresso, bacon fat. Taste: powerful, balanced, savory wine with dark cherry, raspberry, earth, pepper, gamey, minerals, orange peel, and a nice medium plus finish. YUM!!! — 3 months ago

This was all part of our Sake Day 2025 experience. We only tasted 60ish sakes out of an estimated 450, so a small fraction of what was available. While I attempted to rinse the glass with water and stay hydrated it’s difficult to fairly rate in this environment and I use it solely as a time to try a wide variety and interact with the brands.
