Marty Mathis (Kathryn Kennedy) pulled out some great wines for us- this 2018 Cab Franc had a deep purple color. Aromas of bright berry flavors, sweet oak and baking spices. Well balanced with berry compote and pencil shavings on the palate.

Thanks, @Angela Winnike! Been holding onto this one and happy I did, drinking extremely well rn. All them chenin flavors, honey, citrus, apple... lateral and textural. Acids are prominent. Would easily confuse for a Grüner if tasted blind. — 5 years ago
