Back on track and drinking Greek. This was only my second rose on the trip and this one got my attention. Not only for its character, but it’s versatility with our meal. Apropos, the wine pours a deep fuchsia color. Bursting with fruit: luxardo cherry, raspberry, strawberry, kiwi, watermelon, pretty little purple flowers, minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry. Confirming the notes from the nose. There are tannins…but I would categorize them as low. Acid is medium+ however and the finish is long. Lovely, “fit” texture. A memorable rose that worked deftly with fresh tomatoes, olives and feta; fish soup; as well as handmade pasta and clams in light red sauce. Bravo. — 2 years ago
Beautiful wine! Lots of fruit, nice tannins. Cassis and blackberries. Some leather and chocolate notes. Well balanced. Went quite well with our Greek dinner! Would definitely have again! — 6 months ago
Not for the timid if an in-your-face Cab Franc is one’s introduction to the varietal. That said, a few put away in the cellar will bring much joy down the road. At the moment the wine is defined by dark berries, orange peel, green pepper and yes, even herbes de Provence. Crazy, I know. While a Fleurie and Limniona will bookend tomorrow’s Thanksgiving meal, a sneak pour of this Cab Franc is all but guaranteed. Can’t wait! 🦃🇺🇸🦃 — a year ago

Exquisite #greek dry red made from the rising star #limniona grape. Absolutely lovely expressive nose with violets, concentrated red fruit, dried herbs and black pepper. Medium plus body with purple-red hue. Beautifully balanced on the palate, peppy acidity set against the bright fruit with silky tannins on the finish. — 2 days ago
