Tasted side by side with 2014 I think this (90+ pts) showed a tiny bit of pyrazines that made me prefer the older vintage.

I’ve always loved the 2003 Napa Cabernets despite vintage charts and reviews.

This wine was procured at auction dirt cheap and it’s one of the early Kelly Fleming wines - maybe 2nd vintage.

Needed airtime and oxygen. Still a lot of power and dark flavors. Fruit remains and it’s quite a solid wine. Winner in my book — 4 months ago
