One of the most fascinating single malts I’ve ever had. This is not for beginners. It’s oily and industrial in the best way, with notes of grain, honey and oak. I liked it a lot, but it felt incomplete, maybe a little one note. Certainly not an everyday drinker, but it was definitely educational. I’m looking forward to trying some of their alternative barrel offerings. EDIT: This grew on me like Kudzu, baby. I LOVE this whisky. The more I drank the more complex and interesting it became. Nothing super complex but wonderfully floral and sweet with enough structure to keep it balanced. Wonderful summer whisky — a month ago

This is getting better and better with air. I liked on opening and have to say I think I like it better. Not looking at what I rated it then but it’s got great weight, punch and flavor. The finish is long. I would like a bit more so not out of the park but very much a great finish to the day. Listening to a quick play of Enya because I can’t get enough Irish right now. Should have pulled a Teeling. Tomorrow. — 3 hours ago
