Amery Vineyard Block 6 Shiraz 2004

Still looks young, high acidity keeps it fresh. So different from an Hermitage! — 15 days ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2020

Surprise! Very good fairly big Pinot…had at Eddie V’s on NYE…don’t recall vintage specifics but drank smooth balanced big berried as in a Russian River Pinot. — 3 years ago

Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2020

Medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and lemon citrus, smooth with a crisp texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with citrus fruit, slight oak notes and savory mineral character. — 4 years ago

Lola Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2022

2022. First of two tasty Pinot Noirs that we enjoyed tonight. This fruity wine paired well with a potato encased meatball in a smoky paprika based bravas sauce. — 2 months ago

Lola Red Blend 2019

Concentrated and brooding. Mostly Syrah with Cabernet and Grenache. Black peppercorns. Wild, brambly fruit. Juicy. Assertive and better with ample air. Biodynamically farmed. Great with Beef Bourguignon. — 3 years ago

If You See Kay

Paso Robles Red Blend 2017

One of our favorite reds. Not too sweet or tanic but a nice blend of fruit, wood, and soil. Laura nicely with red meat or cheese. — 4 years ago

Reserve Griffon's Key Amery Vineyard Grenache 2016

See several previous Delectable notes for this wine. They still apply. Trademark raspberry notes with an earthy twist. Quite a sweet palate. Have a bottle left which I’ll probably have in the next year or two. From McLaren Vale which I believe is the best district for Grenache in Australia. — a year ago

Like this Pinot. Light berry flavor. Rich taste. — 3 years ago

Rías Baixas Albariño 2020

An earthy nose masks the floral arrangement one expects. There are some herbal elements there, but more along savory lines. The palate shows apples, peaches and a shovel of the earth of Rías Baixas. Nice acidity and a pleasantly earthy finish cap a wonderfully different style for the region. — 4 years ago
