Reserve Griffon's Key Amery Vineyard Grenache 2019

This is a delicious, if not the most complex, Grenache. Very fruity nose has plummy, kirschy rhubarb, and a wee bit of stony minerality. Intense and soft in the mouth. Super-fine tannins add some structure but noticeable alcohol detracts a bit. Very nice with food. — a month ago

Lola Red Blend 2019

Concentrated and brooding. Mostly Syrah with Cabernet and Grenache. Black peppercorns. Wild, brambly fruit. Juicy. Assertive and better with ample air. Biodynamically farmed. Great with Beef Bourguignon. — 2 years ago

Rías Baixas Albariño 2020

An earthy nose masks the floral arrangement one expects. There are some herbal elements there, but more along savory lines. The palate shows apples, peaches and a shovel of the earth of Rías Baixas. Nice acidity and a pleasantly earthy finish cap a wonderfully different style for the region. — 3 years ago

@Doug Powers I purchased a case of that for $32 a bottle direct from Australia. The first 5-6 years they drank exactly as you described. I thought time would help them calm down so I stashed them away and they all went downhill. Happy your bottles turned out well.

Paso Robles Red Blend 2017

One of our favorite reds. Not too sweet or tanic but a nice blend of fruit, wood, and soil. Laura nicely with red meat or cheese. — 3 years ago
