Enters sweetly, deepens into complexity. — 5 days ago
A robust Zin and multilayered Zin from the best tasting barrels this winery produces. A truly artisan wine, hand-harvested. An array of red fruit flavors, ripe cherry and plums, rich and bold, intense and spicy, some earthy notes and needs time to open up. Tannins are medium-plus, and the finish is long and elegant. Each bottle is hand numbered. This was bottle #3183 and they produced only 4138 bottles for the 2021 vintage. Lovely! — 10 months ago
Distinctly Sardinian with macchia brush of wild herbs persistent on the nose and palate, floral loft, red and black fruit follow, beautiful wine with a balance between traditional and modernity shining through — 3 years ago

Excellent wine. At Re Di Macchia in Montalcino — 2 years ago
Tasted with marvelous branzino with fresh herb and tomato “spring caponata,” this wine was an ideal embodiment in a glass of the “macchia,” the Italian version of the Rhône’s “garrigue.” Bright pear, apple, lemon and yellow plum with an underlying steely minerality and wonderful sensations of hay and salt air-tinged brush. Surprisingly juicy but also lean, it’s an ideal wine for fish — 4 years ago
