Light silvery/gold color. Fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of white flowers. Bold citrus fruit flavors dominate the palate with additional notes of mango and fresh herbs. Mineral driven finish is a bit short but very crisp. Nicely balanced acidity and alcohol and high intensity. Refreshing! — 3 months ago

Vintage 2020 | Modern marketing name and label. The Spanish can do magic with monastrell (= mourverdre). Unbelievable stubborn when popped and poured, beautiful smell. Given 24 hours aeration it develops lovely: smooth taste, glorious fruit. I selected it to pair Indonesian food, which is difficult for matching. It works. — 3 months ago

Founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga Martínez, now run by Manuel, Isabel & Isaac Muga Caño. Deep Ruby, aromas of sweet red and black fruits with pepper spice, unmistakable Muga. 4 grape blend from the Haro district (70% Tempranillo, rest Garnacha, Mazuelo & Graciano), palate shows cherry and currant flavors with espresso, vanilla & toasty oak tones. Soft full tannins, lively acidity on a medium+ finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Nice value! Great vintage! — 10 months ago
