Blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 14% Petit Verdot, aged in 40% new French oak, deep Ruby red with aromas of red and black fruits with oaky spice. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, currants and black cherry with licorice, toasty oak and tobacco. Fine lush tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy tobacco spice. This one is a winner. Delightful and graceful, my guests all loved it. We served it with a miso, coconut salmon curry and it was a beautiful pair. So much juice for the money! And the frizzante really is wonderful.  — 2 months ago

Wine is incredibly dark and brooding. Very dense and heavy taste and texture right out of the bottle.

Drank over about 3 hours. Oxygen was this wines friend and the wine opened up quite a bit to reveal more bright and red fruit to complement the black fruit and density which also gave way as it breathed.

Not a blockbuster from a complexity perspective and lacked the punch of something special. But a solid oakville cab nonetheless and not too oaky. — 2 months ago

Nose: potent. That th tropicality. Piercing fresh minerals.

Palate: slatey. Hints of tropical fruit. A bit bitter on open. Needs an hour to open up and integrate. This may be a masterpiece with time.
