Tar, licorice, menthol, with a hint of blackberry pie filling on the nose. Cranberry, balanced tannins. Extremely nuanced wine, compared to most Primitivos. — 8 months ago
So cool! Black cherry, mint/herbs, bittersweet smoky chocolate, med+ acidity, med body, tart finish. Glad I got to try this rarity! — 3 years ago
Oak, Woodsy, Dark Berries, Tawny color, very smooth and dry at the same time pairs well with lamb and dark chocolate caramels — 7 months ago

Did a bit of research on this wine since I was bringing it to an Apulia themed dinner at Anthony’s in HH. This grape was once nearly extinct and happily its back. There was a lot of black and red berries and some licorice. Nice finish and a structured wine. — 2 months ago
