Here’s the deal: I’m not actually looking for a ton of complexity in a beer. Gimme a *balanced* dosage of hops, a bright palate, maybe some citrus, a crisp and clean finish. Better still if it’s local. All this makes Driftwood a go-to ale in our house. 🍂🍺 — 6 years ago
Liking this 2013 effort from the Oakville District, Bonnys Vineyard. Earthy, deep dark fruits, plum maybe. Medium finish, medium legs. Before a night of watching the Looney Lutherans Christmas show at the Plymouth Playhouse with some VERY Lutheran Minnesotans!! — 7 years ago

Unfiltered, no sulfur. A great Pinot. Definitely a wine maker to watch. Hi toned acidity, surprisingly vanilla?/raspberry nose. Tart strawberries, touch backing spices, lime in the glass. Back palate just a hint of blackberry. Fresh and elegant wine. I love it totally up my alley. At Bar Chelou in Pasadena next to the Playhouse. — 10 months ago
