The app misidentified the variety... this is a 2018 Savignon Blanc. Really liked this one! Smooth, buttery mouth feel. Wife thinks we got it at local PA wine & spirits store. — 6 years ago
The 2010 Petrus has an extraordinary bouquet, ineffably complex with brambly red fruit, sous-bois, dried blood and wild mint aromas that unfurl magically from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and generous, yet amazingly controlled with such tension and grace on the silky smooth finish. This is a fantastic Petrus, one of the greatest in recent years. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at the BI Wines & Spirits 10-Year On tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, April 2020)

Now BSR is one of our main Friday 375ml weekend kickoff celebration starters but, tonight is a little different and even more special.
I’ll be a little mysterious and private about it. However, let’s just say it has taken ten years over a long road to achieve a goal of mine but, today I did. So, a mighty BSR cheers with our favorite N/V Rosé Champagne (except Krug Rosé) with the love of my life, Sofia.
All my many notes still apply.
Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy some nice wine and or spirits. Cheers! 🍾 🥂

There have only been 3 wines that made me a little teary eyed and I am proud to add this one to the list. On the nose it’s like you’re stuck in a Cuban cigar box, bing cherry, freshly tanned leather, tobacco. Red currant, ripe cherry, this wine sneaks up on you and then boooooooom you time travel to an old barn, smokiness, wet hay, dark chocolate finish. The tannins could not be better. A quick tartness then a very mellow finish. The finish lasts for 5+ minutes. I honestly don’t know how to give this wine its proper recognition. Such an amazing piece of Napa history. Wow — 8 years ago

So good, so appley and toasty. One of my favorite spirits I've had in a long time — 10 years ago
This wine will alter your ethos for the better. One sip will have your spirits lifted, shifted, and higher than the ceiling. Drink it. I dare you. — 5 years ago

Just starting to drink more wine as opposed to spirits or beer. I definitely tend toward the sweet wines and find this one to be crisp and delightful. — 7 years ago
I haven’t had a French love affair in awhile, but here I find myself again. The sound outside of the “gite” window during the afternoon sojourn of me and “x” Frenchman is one of honey bees flitting from the stamen to stigma of strawberry plants, impregnating rosettes to guarantee me even more days of oenophilic passion. (D, the husband I briefly forgot about, indicates he bought this at Cambridge Wine & Spirits). — 8 years ago
After a painful night of passing a kidney stone then having to make the difficult decision to put down one of my cats I needed a good wine tonight. This Merlot is full of flavor, full bodied and out of this world. I really need this tonight. Not a good day 😪 R.I.P. sweet little one eyed kitty — 8 years ago

Absolutely one of the best Cab Sauv's I've tasted. Subtle yet strong. I dont trust the point system byt I have to agree with the 91 points it earned from Wine and Spirits mag, and whoever James Suckling is. — 9 years ago
I could drink all of this. Wow it blew my mind. Honestly one of the best spirits I've ever tasted. — 9 years ago

Super nice. Smooth with good tannins that weren't too grippy. Amazing and intense nose. Dark fruits and earth.

Licorice. Importer: Ideal wine and spirits. One of the top 5 wines I’ve ever had — 5 years ago
Smooth, perfect for making rye Manhattans. One of my favorite small batch whiskeys. It is produced at National Historic site in the Hudson Valley. — 6 years ago
Happy New Year to the Delectable community! Marc Hebrart is one of my favorite RM’s and this Special Club bottling paired with black-eyed peas ended up being a fantastic way to start the New Year. Initially fresh sliced Asian pears on the pop and pour but as this warmed and received air, it became super complex with baked apples, brioche, white peach, pineapple, waxy red fruit (raspberries) and the smell of a fresh, brand new pair of sneakers. On the palate, this was full of bright lime, meringue. Minerals. Slightly nutty? Crisp. Acid is high. Finish is long. Very long. Sublime. Disgorged December 2017 — 7 years ago
This stuff is good, flowery and smooth - had it with ice! Got a taste of another one of their gins - flowery with a pine resin Christmas feel to it - didn’t catch the name though. — 8 years ago
The cabernet cousin to one of my favorites. First time I have seen this. In the house style of big extracted fruit, supple tannins, and high but well hidden ABV. Would seek out again but if not there is always Blue Eyed Boy. — 8 years ago
Nice clean sweeter American whiskey ...third one that night though — 9 years ago

Actually one of the really good tasting champagnes that isn’t too dry or sweet. Great combo of both. Recommended by guy at Cambridge Wine and Spirits. — 5 years ago
