Still a very interesting wine, with a ripe peachy-pear nose and a spine of acidity on the palate. Salty. Works well with that beast of pairings, tomato sauce. Needs food to show at its best. — 10 years ago
Deep orange color. Orange peel. Balanced tannin and acidity, gentle. Slight sweet, but it is good to match with Japanese food. Malvasia Bianca Orange Ancestral Biodynamic Nature Lunaria 22 @2310, Toscan, 240914-240922 — 7 months ago
Cantina Orsogna Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Kripia. 2019. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry liquor, oak and warm spices. On the palate, full bodied, rich, black cherry, vanilla, oak, and medium finish of same. Nice wine for a meal. — 3 years ago

2011 vintage. Might be slightly past its peak. Mostly tertiary flavors. Overcooked black fruits, charred plums, spice. Interesting but not for everyone. — 2 days ago
