Berry nose, ruby colored, light body fruit first with pepper finish low acidity low tannin. A local replacement for tampranillo? — 3 years ago
I’m a believer in terroir, but this wine, which is an absolute ringer for Chablis, throws everything in question. If this were grown at Rorick with its limestone that would make sense, but semillon from the Napa valley floor? Out of the bottle it’s quite lithe, showing lemon and a bit of seashell minerality, but with an hour of air it begins to show some crisp apple and white stone fruit, and some white flower. Lovely, unusual wine. Enjoyed with grilled salmon and salad. — 5 years ago

828 cases made, 50/21/20 blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Sangiovese plus minor additions of Counoise, Petite Sirah and Barbera. Medium extracted pigment, very good clarity. Fruity nose, lightly tannic, cherryish flavors with notes of tangerine, mint, spearmint and white pepper. Pioneers of wine growing in Cochise County AZ. Paired it with grilled chicken and red mole, and also grilled salmon. Artisanal yet tasty — 4 years ago
1st release and production for 1 mille road on the naramata bench. Excited to have ordered and tried. Excellent winemakers who started laughing stock and have ventured to a single varietal production. This Pinot noir is wonderful will look forward to more of the rich smooth wine. @P A have to try — 5 years ago
