Vintage 2020 | Modern marketing name and label. The Spanish can do magic with monastrell (= mourverdre). Unbelievable stubborn when popped and poured, beautiful smell. Given 24 hours aeration it develops lovely: smooth taste, glorious fruit. I selected it to pair Indonesian food, which is difficult for matching. It works. — 2 months ago
Excellent wine!!!! Great by itself! — 7 months ago
Lovely deep colour, lots of fruit with oak and vanilla. Well worth the £12.95 from The Wine Society. A firm favourite and will stock up more of the 2018 vintage. — a month ago
Crowd pleaser. Milk chocolately oak. Velvety smooth — 2 months ago
Very nice. Good balance of fruit and acids. Smooth mouthfeel that finishes with peaches and pears. — 6 months ago
Bittery, tart, dark chocolaty but fresh. Great with a charactery board for a nice quiet evening. — 8 months ago
Light silvery/gold color. Fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of white flowers. Bold citrus fruit flavors dominate the palate with additional notes of mango and fresh herbs. Mineral driven finish is a bit short but very crisp. Nicely balanced acidity and alcohol and high intensity. Refreshing! — 2 months ago

I don't like whites but this one hits the spot on a warm day. — 6 months ago

So much complexity for a vinho verde. Paired beautifully with grilled sardine.
